  2. I couldn’t agree more with Ms. Tadic’s statement regarding a lack of a “store and ignore” solutions for digital preservation of film. Hopefullly, the emergence of various cloud platforms will help to eleviate this since theoretically there is always another “copy” or backup in the cloud. We have this challenge in our business when we preserve home videos digitally and have to explain that DVD does not constitute a permanent solution – especially if it isn’t taken care of. Here’s to a digital world.
